CAT 2024 exam on sunday Check the important guidelines and dress code instructions here in details


CAT Exam Instructions: Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) is conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on Sunday. This Common Admission Test examination will be conducted in three shifts. The first shift exam will be held from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. After this, the second shift will be held from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Whereas the third shift will be from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Earlier recently, IIM Calcutta had released the admit card for CAT exam on the official website. Candidates appearing in CAT exam can download their admit card on the official website of IIM Calcutta iimcat.ac.in.

To download the admit card, candidates will need their registration ID and password. Apart from this, candidates will have to carry a valid photo ID on the day of examination along with the admit card.

What is the pattern of CAT exam 2024?

Let us tell you that there will be three sections in the CAT exam 2024 exam. Which includes Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). There will be a total of 66 questions in the CAT 2024 paper. This time candidates will get 3 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong response, but there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

What is the dress code for male and female?

Candidates will not be allowed to wear shoes with thick soles in this examination. Will not be able to wear clothes with pockets. They can wear any type of shirt, T-shirt, trousers or whatever they feel comfortable wearing. Whereas, women candidates will not be allowed to carry any jewellery, jewelery or any metal with them. Apart from this, avoid wearing earrings, nose pin, necklace, anklets, bangles or any other metal jewellery.
